Which gemstone is best for a necklace worn every day?
Sapphire or ruby. Both are corundum, second only to diamond in hardness, so a doorframe or a zipper will not mark them. Sapphire also comes in nearly every color, so she can have it in the one she already wears.
Which gemstone necklace matches her birth month?
Give her the stone of her month. January is garnet, February amethyst, March aquamarine, May emerald, June pearl, July ruby, August peridot, September sapphire, October opal, November topaz or citrine and December turquoise. For April, choose a diamond.
Are these sapphires natural or lab-grown?
