What comes with a purchase

• An appraisal, with the piece. It states the carat and gram weights, and where the piece has diamonds their grade and color, and the value we appraise it at, and it carries our corporate seal. Silver jewelry does not come with an appraisal. International orders receive it as a digital document.
• Your invoice.
• Insured shipping, with one caveat. The shipping and warranty policy says we insure packages automatically. The same policy offers paid insurance at checkout, and says that if you decline it, the package is your responsibility once it is marked delivered. If it is not right, the refund policy gives you fourteen calendar days from confirmed delivery to return a piece that is new, unworn and unaltered, in its original packaging. Returns are inspected and approved under the policy before a refund issues. A 5 percent restocking fee and a flat return-shipping charge, set by destination, apply as the policy states, read September 24, 2026. Custom pieces, watches and final-sale items are not returnable.

To cancel an order, email verify@traxnyc.com with Cancel my order and your order number in the subject line. The Terms of Service say you get a full refund unless production is complete or the order has shipped, and in the next sentence that restocking and shipping fees may apply. Ask what comes back when you write. Custom orders are exempt from cancellation.

If a piece arrives with a manufacturing defect, tell us within seven days of delivery; we assess it and, where it applies, offer a repair, a remake or another resolution at no added cost. Wear, improper care and alterations by others are not covered. Optional warranty plans for manufacturing defects are offered at checkout. Warranty claims go to service@traxnyc.com.

How we price

A gold piece is priced from four things: its weight in grams, the share of pure gold in its karat, the gold price, and the work in it. 14K is 14 parts gold in 24. The work is the making, the setting and the finish.

Nearly every chain listing prints its weight in grams, with a note that the final weight may vary slightly. Custom work and the bench

We make jewelry on our own bench: CAD designers and model makers, jewelers who assemble the pieces and set the diamonds, and polishers. Ask and any stone is shown in person or on video before you decide.

Custom pieces are designed and made at our bench: sketch, CAD, wax, gold. You send a photo or an idea; a jeweler answers with a sketch, a CAD and a price. We take gold in trade at the counter, Booth F-1, during showroom hours. A jeweler tests the karat and weighs it in grams right in front of you. How the value comes back to you, and the rest of the terms, are on the gold trade-in page. No mail-in. No loans, no tickets, no interest. Bring the gold and a valid photo ID, and the paperwork if the piece came from us.
