Buyer's guide
How to choose a sterling silver bracelet
Choose the link first, then the width, the length, any diamonds and how to keep it bright
Start with a slim plain link, a Franco or a rope. Those two made up most of what people bought here, and they wear every day beside a watch or alone. Keep it under 4 mm wide for daily wear. The skulls and the diamond pieces are the loud ones, most of them wide. Every bracelet here is sterling, and sterling darkens with time, so keep a polishing cloth in the drawer.

Find your bracelet length
Measure your wrist with a tape or a strip of paper, pick how you like it to sit, and read the length to order.
1. Measure the wrist
Wrap a soft tape snug around the wrist, over the wrist bone, and type the inches it reads.
Set the screen with a card first. Lay any bank, debit or ID card flat on the screen, standing tall, so its short edge runs across the box, and move the slider until the box is exactly as wide as the card. No bank card? A driver's license, metro card, gift card or hotel key is the same size.
Wrap a strip of paper snug around the wrist, over the wrist bone, and mark where it meets. Cut it at the mark and fold it in half, end to end. Lay the fold on the 0 at the top of the ruler and move the slider under it until the gold line sits on the two ends. The ruler reads the whole strip.
7.25 inches around the wrist
2. How should it sit?
The link
A 7.25 inch wrist with a comfortable fit takes an 8 inch bracelet. 18 of the 21 bracelets here come in 8 inches.
The counter's rule of thumb: measure the wrist snug, then add half an inch, three quarters of an inch or a full inch for a snug, a comfortable or a loose fit. A link 10 mm or wider eats room inside the loop, so add a quarter inch more. Between two lengths, take the longer.

Questions we get at the counter
Are these silver bracelets real .925 sterling silver?
Yes. Every bracelet here is listed .925 silver, the sterling standard. That means 92.5 percent pure silver, with copper making up most of the rest for strength. The plain links are described as solid, and no listing says plated.
Does a sterling silver bracelet tarnish?
Yes. All sterling darkens, and sweat, perfume and pool water speed it up. No listing covers care, so this is general silver advice. A polishing cloth brings a plain link back, and a closed pouch keeps it dry.
What size silver bracelet should I get?
Take 7.5 or 8 inches, the lengths bought most here. Measure the wrist with a soft tape and add about an inch for a link that moves freely. A slim wrist wears 7 inches. A big wrist wants 8.5 or 9.
More questions we get
Which silver bracelet sells the most?
The rope bracelet sold most, 71 since it arrived in June. Counting its three lengths together, the Franco pave sold more as a design. Both are slim, solid links under 4 mm that sit well beside a watch.
Are the diamonds on these silver bracelets real?
Yes. Five bracelets are listed with diamonds, most of them lab-grown, and a lab-grown diamond is real diamond. The Mini UFO also comes natural. Three skulls mention diamonds only in their descriptions, so ask us the origin and the weight before you pay.
What is oxidized silver?
It is sterling darkened on purpose, so the recesses turn black and the diamonds or the engraved name stand out. The counter's advice is soap and water, dried well, with the polishing cloth kept off the dark areas.
Are these silver bracelets for men or women?
Every bracelet here sits in our men's case. Five sit in the women's case too, the slimmest Miami Cuban, the custom name bracelet and both Mini UFOs among them. A slim link under 4 mm suits any wrist.
Can I return a silver bracelet?
Yes, unworn and unaltered silver has fourteen days from delivery, but a custom name bracelet is final. Clear it with the desk in the live chat, or over text at 212-872-9692 from 10 AM ET, for our insured label. From the refund we hold five percent restocking and the return shipping (refund policy).
