Once you submit your order, a credit card authorization hold occurs for the full amount. This checks if your card is valid and has sufficient funds. Funds are held but not transferred until captured, typically within 7 days. Some pieces may take 2–3 weeks to produce before shipping.
Credit card authorizations can last up to 7 days. If not captured within that period, the authorization becomes void and funds are released back to your account, usually within 3–5 business days depending on your bank.
All orders undergo verification to prevent fraud. Some may require additional documentation such as ID and the last 4 digits of the credit card. In rare cases, a selfie with both may be requested. We don't store these emails — they're securely attached to your profile for future verification bypass.
We aim to ship orders as quickly as possible, but production can take up to 2–3 weeks. For urgent orders or specific dates, add a note at checkout or email service@traxnyc.com.
You may request to cancel your order and receive a full refund unless the production stage is complete or your order has shipped. Restocking and shipping fees may apply. To cancel, email verify@traxnyc.com with the subject line "Cancel my order #[Order #]".

Effective January 1, 2026, TraxNYC has discontinued its Layaway Program. This change applies prospectively only and does not affect layaway agreements entered into prior to this date.
Customers with an active layaway established before January 1, 2026 may, within a reasonable period, choose to either (i) complete payment of the remaining balance under the original terms, or (ii) request that the outstanding balance be converted into store credit for future use.
Store credit issued in connection with a discontinued layaway is non-refundable, has no cash value, and is subject to TraxNYC's standard store credit terms and conditions.
Eligibility for payoff or conversion options is limited to layaways that are in good standing at the time of request. TraxNYC reserves the right to review each request to confirm eligibility and verify account details.

Before Shipment
A TraxNYC diamond jewelry expert will appraise and certify your purchased merchandise. Your appraisal will include all the specifics of your item, such as carat weight, gram weight, diamond grade, current market value, color of diamond (such as for black diamonds), and more. The appraisal will also bear the official TraxNYC corporate seal, authenticating it as a formal company document. This $80 service is offered FREE of charge to our customers as a token of our appreciation.
International Orders
Complimentary appraisals are not extended to international orders. For further information, kindly reach out to our customer service representatives. The digital appraisal will still be available with the purchase.

Silver items are exempt from our free appraisal offer.
Post-Sale Appraisal Limitation
Please be aware that we do not offer post-purchase appraisal services. Once you receive your item and its accompanying appraisal, we are unable to update or revise the appraisal at a later date.
