Before you come

Text or call 212-872-9692 before you make the trip. Tell us what you are coming for: a chain, a ring, a watch, gold you want to trade, an order to pick up, an idea for a custom piece. We will tell you what to expect, and a jeweler will be expecting you when you get here. There is no booking tool and no form to fill out. A text is enough.

What to bring

• To pick up an online order: a valid ID and your confirmation email.
• To trade in gold: the gold itself and a valid photo ID. If the piece came from TraxNYC, bring its paperwork too.
• For a repair or a resize: the piece.
• To start a custom piece: a photo or an idea.

At the counter

You see the pieces in person. Every chain is weighed, stamp-checked and appraised at the counter. Every stone is shown in person or on video before you decide.

Ask about a resize or a repair at the counter; bring the piece in. Resizing and other alterations are done for you and are not returnable.

The watch counter carries new and pre-owned watches. Watches are not returnable, so take your time with them.

Every purchase comes with an official appraisal: carat and gram weights, diamond grade and color, current market value, and our corporate seal. Silver jewelry does not come with an appraisal. The appraisal is part of the purchase; we do not offer appraisals as a separate service after the sale.

Picking up an online order

Choose pickup at checkout and your order comes to the showroom at 64 W 47th St. Contact our Customer Care team at 212-TRAXNYC or service@traxnyc.com when scheduling your pickup so we can have your order prepared. Orders are usually ready in 2 to 4 days. Present a valid ID and your confirmation email when collecting your order.

Bringing gold in

We trade gold, we do not cash it out. Bring it to the counter during showroom hours. We test the karat and weigh it in grams right in front of you and quote you on the spot. The value goes to store credit. No cash payouts, no mail-in; trade-ins are in person only, with a valid photo ID.

Every TraxNYC piece can come back to the counter for trade-in credit whenever you are ready; there is no window to beat. Bring its paperwork. We hold Secondhand Dealer License 2123575-DCWP. The full terms are on the gold trade-in page.

Custom work

Custom jewelry is designed and made at our bench: sketch, CAD, wax, gold. Send a photo or an idea, pick lab or natural stones and a metal from 14K to platinum, and a jeweler answers with a sketch, a CAD and a price. Custom work takes weeks, not days; the jeweler gives you the timeline when you start. Custom pieces are made for you and are not returnable. 24K gold by the gram

We sell 24K gold by the gram. Gold Currency bills are .999 pure gold in 1 gram, 5 gram and 10 gram sizes, each signed by hand by our founder, Maksud Agadjani, and priced at spot plus a premium. You can buy them at the counter or by phone through a personal jeweler. The price is on our gold price page.

Same visit, and not

Same visit: seeing pieces in person, a chain weighed, stamp-checked and appraised, a gold trade-in tested, weighed and quoted, a resize or repair quoted, and an order you scheduled for pickup.

Not the same visit: a finished custom piece, which is made at the bench over weeks, not days. A warranty claim, which starts by email to service@traxnyc.com with your order number and clear photos. An appraisal on its own after a sale, which is not a service we offer.
