Gold Diamond Earrings for Men
Gold diamond earrings for men, most in 14k gold, then 18k and 10k. Studs are the biggest group, with cluster, flower, cross and single earrings beside them. Most are prong set, and where the cut is listed it is usually round. Listed widths run from 3 mm to 17 mm. Some listings say lab-grown, fewer say natural, most do not say. The best sellers are the Flower Diamond Earrings, 14k gold diamond studs, the 1 and 2 carat total weight lab studs and the 14K Gold Cluster Earrings.

How to choose diamond earrings for men
Style, lab or natural, carat, cut and grades, karat, colour and backs, read off this page's live listings and the past year's sales
Diamond earrings for men: 180 listings live here, the men's earrings page without its black diamond and gemstone pieces. Studs are the biggest group, then 29 titles naming no style, then the flowers, the prong-set earrings, the clusters and the crosses. Upside down, square, cube and pillow, halo and baguette designs come in smaller numbers, and 13 listings are one earring. Seven in ten are 14K and one in five 18K; nine are 10K and five are .925 silver, so nearly every pair of men's diamond earrings here is gold. Studs took close to half of this page's money in the year and flowers about a fifth.
This guide is for the man buying for his own ear. It covers the style, grown or mined stones, what a title's carat means for one ear, the cut and the letters, the karat and colour, the back and how to buy. Every count below is from the 180 listings live here on September 25, 2026 and what this page sold in the year to that day; prices are on the listings.
By style: each style's count, karat and width as its listings give them, its past-year sales and the page to shop it, over the 180 live on September 25, 2026

Each title counts under the first style word it carries, read in a fixed order, so a title with two style words counts once. Where a cell shows two counts, the second is how many listings the store marks Studs, Flowers, Cluster, cube or pillow, or Baguette, a grouping by the store's rule, not the title. The karat cell reads the metal line, or the title where the line is blank. The width is the median for that style's listings stating one, in millimetres as listed, with how many state one in parentheses. The sold cell gives what this page's live titles of that style sold over the twelve months to September 25, 2026: pieces, share of the money, and how many titles sold at all. The ten style rows hold 163 of the 180; the other seventeen are halo 4, hamsa 2 and one each of solitaire, hexagon, marquise, single, skull, dome, sunburst, clover, star, bull and bezel.
Questions we get at the counter
What diamond earrings do men wear?
Studs, most of all: 50 of the 180 titles here lead with stud, 60 listings are marked Studs, and in the past year studs took 48 percent of this page's money. Flowers are next, 21 titles and 21 percent of the money, then clusters, 15 titles, and crosses, nine. Thirteen listings are a single earring. By title, no hoop or huggie is on this page. Start with the men's stud earrings.
Are men's diamond earrings real diamonds?
Yes. Every one of the 180 listings here is marked Diamond, and the only other stone named is sapphire, on one flower listing. Lab-grown or mined, both are diamond and both take the same grades; the difference is where the stone grew and what it costs at a given size. About one listing in four here says lab-grown, one in eight natural, and six in ten say neither; where the listing is silent, ask the desk which, and whether a report comes with the pair.
What does ctw mean on a pair of diamond earrings?
Total carat weight for both earrings together; a pair's stones are matched, so halve the ctw for one ear. The lab round studs here print it beside the size: 1 Carat Each on the 2 Ctw and 5 Carat Each on the 10 Ctw. Pt or pointer is a hundredth of a carat. Only 44 of the 180 titles carry a carat, 33 as ctw with a median of 2.00, and every title at 2 ctw and up is lab-grown; another 39 say it in the description only.
How much do men's diamond earrings cost?
The listing says; carat and origin set most of the price, since a grown stone of the same size and letters comes in well under a mined one. Then the karat and the grams of gold, then the cut and the letters. On this page in the past year the 2 Ctw lab round studs led by money and a flower pair by the piece. Pick the carat and the origin first, read the price on the listing, and let the desk quote a made pair.
Which diamond cut looks best in a man's earring?
Round, for most: the brightest cut, on 27 titles here, and in the past year it took 32 percent of this page's money. Portuguese, a round with more facet rows, flashes harder and took 14 percent on seven titles, six of them studs. Asscher, a square step cut, reads quiet and glassy, six titles; baguette is a step-cut bar set in rows, four; cushion a soft-cornered square, four. In all 55 titles name a cut; where none does, the photo shows it.
What clarity should a man's diamond earrings be?
VS if the letter matters to you; SI is fine when the desk says the stone is clean to the eye. Clarity is a loupe grade, and a VS stone looks clean without one. On this page about 31 listings state a clarity, one in six: the ten titles that carry one say VS, VS1 or VS2, and the descriptions most often say SI1. The other 149 state none, and no listing prints a cut grade. Ask the desk what a given pair shows.
White gold or yellow gold for men's diamond earrings?
Yellow, by what this page sold: 53 percent of the pieces in the past year against 38 percent white and 3 percent rose. On studs yellow led white by a little, on flowers by nearly two to one. All but seven of the 180 listings offer a colour choice, and 125 offer all three. No listing names the finish on its white gold or the alloy under it, so a sensitive ear asks the desk; the upkeep notes on white gold are on the men's earrings guide.
Do men's diamond earrings come with screw backs?
Some do, and only two listings here say so: the Canary VS Studs and the Classic Diamond Stud Earrings say screw back in the description. No title names a back and none says push back, so the back on 178 of the 180 listings is a desk question. A screw back turns down a thread and stays where you set it; a push back clips onto a notch. Ask the desk whether a pair carries one, and what a swap to a screw back costs.
