Buyer's guide
How to choose a men's gemstone bracelet
Pick beads or a tennis line, then the stone, the width and the length for your wrist
Choose beads or a line of stones first. A tiger eye or pearl bead bracelet is the everyday piece. It slides to fit your wrist, and beads were most of what sold here. A sapphire tennis line is the dressier buy. Take one near 3.5 mm so it sits beside a watch. Measure your wrist before you pay, since only a few lines here reach 8 inches.
Measure your wrist with a tape or a strip of paper, pick how you like it to sit, and read the length to order.
1. Measure the wrist
Wrap a soft tape snug around the wrist, over the wrist bone, and type the inches it reads.
inches
Check the screen with a quarter first. Lay a quarter flat on the screen, over the coin, and move the slider until the coin on the screen is exactly the size of yours.
Wrap a strip of paper snug around the wrist, over the wrist bone, and mark where it meets. Cut it at the mark and fold it in half, end to end. Lay the fold on the 0 at the top of the ruler and move the slider under it until the gold line sits on the two ends. The ruler reads the whole strip.
6.25 inches around the wrist
2. How should it sit?
A 6.25 inch wrist with a comfortable fit takes a 7 inch bracelet. 22 of the 58 bracelets here come in 7 inches. It is the most bought length here: 25 of the 56 bracelets sold here in the past year with a length recorded.
Our rule of thumb: measure the wrist snug, then add half an inch, three quarters of an inch or a full inch for a snug, a comfortable or a loose fit. Between two lengths, take the longer.
A home measurement is a guide; the desk can check it with you before you order. The counts are the bracelets live here on September 26, 2026; the most bought length reads the bracelets sold here in the year to September 25, 2026 with a length recorded.
Beads or tennis: a gemstone bead bracelet or a sapphire tennis bracelet for men
Buy a bead bracelet for every day. Stone beads sit between 14K gold beads on a sliding cord or clasp, so you set the fit yourself. The tiger eye bead bracelet sold 77 in the year, more than any other piece. A tennis line is the dressier piece, a row of prong-set stones, most often sapphires. This page also holds stretch bangles, link bracelets and three opal pieces. All but two pieces are 14K. The two Harmony of Shapes Gemstone links are 10K.
The stone: sapphire, ruby, emerald, opal, tiger eye and turquoise bracelets for men
Take sapphire or ruby for the hardest wear. Both rate 9 on the hardness scale, just under diamond. Sapphire fills most of this page, in rainbow rows and in red, blue, pink and green. Emerald is softer and more brittle, so spare it knocks. Tiger eye, agate and garnet wear well, while turquoise, malachite, opal and pearl are soft stones to keep from water and cologne. Most listings leave out whether a sapphire was mined or grown, so ask us. A few do say, like the cultured pearl and one lab-grown emerald line.
Width and pointer: how wide a gemstone tennis bracelet should be for a man
Start near 3.5 mm, the middle of the tennis lines here. That width shows its color and still slides under a cuff beside a watch. A pointer number gives the weight of one stone, in hundredths of a carat. Our 10 pointer lines run 3 to 3.5 mm wide. A 20 pointer runs near 4 mm. Under 3 mm is a thin thread of color for stacking. Nearly every tennis line comes in yellow, white or rose gold.
Length: what size gemstone bracelet a man wears, and how to measure the wrist
Measure before you buy a tennis line, since it has no slack. Put a cloth tape or a string snug around the wrist, just above the bone, read the inches and give it half an inch of room. Most tennis lines here run 7 or 7.5 inches, which suits a slim wrist. Six tennis lines come in 8 inches. Four lines run 6.5 inches, for a small wrist. Ask us whether a line can be made longer. Every bead bracelet adjusts, and the stretch bangles roll on over the hand.
Care: can you wear a gemstone bracelet in the shower, the pool or the gym
Take a bead bracelet off before water or a workout. A wet cord frays, and chlorine and sweat dull the soft stones. Put it on after the cologne and take it off first at night. A sapphire or ruby line can stay on all day, but have the prongs checked once or twice a year, since a bent prong loses a stone. Store each bracelet in its own pouch. The three opal pieces are made to order, and their listings allow 10 to 15 business days.

Every count on this card is from the 58 bracelets live here on September 26, 2026 and what this page sold in the year to that day; prices are on the listings. Hardness is the Mohs scale, where talc is 1 and diamond is 10. The two 10K mixed-stone links and three lab-grown diamond bracelets sit outside the rows.
Questions we get in the store
Are the stones in these bracelets natural or lab-grown?
Only a handful of these listings say, so ask the desk about any stone before you buy. The pearl bracelet says cultured, and one opal bracelet and two ruby pieces say natural. One emerald line and one sapphire line say their stones were grown.
Are the gemstone bead bracelets adjustable?
Yes, all eight of our bead bracelets adjust. Each one closes on a sliding cord or a sliding clasp, so you set it snug or loose yourself, with no links to take out. Ask the desk how far one opens if your wrist runs large.
Can I wear a gemstone bracelet in the shower?
Take it off first, above all a bead bracelet. Water wears the cord, and soap and chlorine dull turquoise, malachite, opal and pearl. A sapphire or ruby tennis line handles a rinse, but dry it after and keep it clear of harsh cleaners.
More questions we get
What length gemstone tennis bracelet does a man need?
Measure the wrist and add about half an inch. The tennis lines here mostly run 7 or 7.5 inches, which fits a slimmer wrist. Six come in 8 inches, and the desk can tell you whether another line can be made longer.
What does 10 pointer mean on a sapphire tennis bracelet?
It means each stone weighs about ten points, a tenth of a carat. On this page a 10 pointer line runs 3 to 3.5 mm wide. Go to a 20 pointer, near 4 mm, if you want the color to read from across a room.
Is the gold on these bracelets real 14K?
Yes, the metal on every bracelet here is gold, and all but two are 14K. The two Harmony of Shapes Gemstone link bracelets are 10K. Most tennis lines let you choose yellow, white or rose gold, and each bead bracelet comes as pictured.
Are these gemstone bracelets for men or for women?
Every one is in our men's listings, and most are also in the women's. A man's wrist usually carries a bead bracelet or a stone line of 3.5 mm and up best. The four lines at 6.5 inches fit only a small wrist.
Can I return a gemstone bracelet?
Yes, unworn and unaltered, within fourteen days of delivery (refund policy). An opal made to order for you is final. Message customer service at service@traxnyc.com or call 212-391-3832 to clear it and get our return label. Restocking takes five percent, and the label comes off the refund too.
