To measure your bracelet size, wrap a strip of paper or a soft tape snug around the wrist just below the wrist bone, mark where it meets, and read it flat in inches; then add about half an inch for a close fit or an inch for a bracelet that hangs. Most men wear 8 to 8.5 inches and most women about 7, and the chart below reads any wrist across.
Bracelet size chart: how to measure your wrist
- Wrap the strip snug, not tight, where the bracelet will sit: just below the wrist bone.
- Mark where the end meets it, lay it flat on a ruler and read the inches.
- Add about half an inch for a close fit, an inch for one that hangs. A tennis bracelet should not spin, so keep it close; a link bracelet can hang a little.
- Between two lengths, take the longer one, and ask the desk before you order whether the piece can be shortened.
No tape at home? A string or a phone cable works the same way: wrap it, mark it, and lay it against a ruler.

A solid bangle slips over the hand, so it is sized by its inside diameter, not its length, and has to pass over the widest part of the hand. Several of our bangles list a diameter, such as 2.5 inches; ask the desk which hand it passes before you order.

How to buy a men's bracelet
Our men's bracelets page is nearly all men's bracelets. Miami Cuban is the biggest style by the first style word in the title; tennis, bead, curb, anchor, Franco, rope, box, paperclip, bangle, motif pieces and diamond bracelets that name no link fill the rest. Most are 14K gold; the rest are mostly 10K, with some .925 silver and 18K. Fewer than half carry diamonds.

Miami Cuban is the biggest style here and the bead bracelet sells most; metal and grams by style are in the table below, and some titles name no style at all, so read those by the photo.

Measure the wrist snug with a strip of paper, add about half an inch for a close fit and an inch for one that hangs; a link bracelet hangs a little, a tennis bracelet should not spin. Solid or hollow: a solid or hollow gold bracelet on the wrist
Solid, for a bracelet worn while you work. A bracelet takes knocks a chain never does, on desks, doors and steering wheels, and a hollow bracelet dents where a solid one would not. Hollow is the same link with less gold in it, lighter on the wrist and on the ticket. On that page hollow is mostly the thin links under 7 mm: curb, rope, Franco and paperclip. Most titles there say neither solid nor hollow, the Miami Cubans too. A title that says neither is not solid by default: read the build line and the grams, or ask the desk.
Tennis and diamonds: what to check on a men's diamond tennis bracelet
Shop a tennis bracelet by the per-stone size, the prongs and the clasp, not by the total carat weight.
- Total carat weight is many small stones added up and says nothing about size; price per carat climbs with size, so fifty small stones cost a fraction of one big one.
- A point is a hundredth of a carat, and a tennis bracelet is named by its stone: 10 Pt means 0.10 carat stones, 2 Ct Each means two-carat stones. A 10-pointer round is about 3 mm across, a half carat about 5 mm, so the stone size sets the width.
- Good small stones are bright and matched, cheap ones grey and cloudy; look in daylight.
- Count the prongs: four per stone holds, two is how bracelets lose diamonds.
- Turn it over; good work is finished underneath.
- Work the clasp and the safety catch, where tennis bracelets are lost: the tongue should click home and hold a tug, the figure-eight snap shut with no play; a tongue that slides in silent has lost its spring.
- Get the per-stone size, the color and clarity range, and natural or lab-grown, in writing.
Nearly every tennis bracelet on our men's bracelets page is 14K. Of the diamond pieces there, more say lab-grown than natural, and many say neither. Both are real diamonds, one grown and one mined. 14K is the metal here: about three in four listings, and 87 percent of the money that page's titles took in the year to September 21, 2026; 10K took 9 percent and .925 silver 3.
