Is 21K gold real gold?
Yes. 21K is 87.5 percent pure gold, with a little silver and copper mixed in to harden it. It is marked 21K or 875. All fourteen pieces here are 21K yellow gold by their listings, and none says plated.
Is 21K gold better than 18K or 22K?
Neither is better, because each karat trades color against hardness. 21K is a deeper yellow than 18K and softer. It is a touch paler than 22K and a little harder. Take 18K for fine detail you wear hard, and 21K for the color.
Can I wear 21K gold every day?
Yes, with some care. It dents and scratches more easily than 14K or 18K, so take it off for the gym and for heavy work. It will not tarnish, and a patterned piece hides the fine marks better than a mirror polish.

Does 21K gold tarnish or change color?
No, not in ordinary wear. So little of 21K is other metal that it keeps its color. Pool chlorine and harsh cleaners can still dull the surface, so take it off to swim and wash it in warm, soapy water.
What do the grams on a 21K listing tell me?
They weigh the whole piece, and seven eighths of that weight is pure gold. A 4-gram chain holds 3.5 grams of gold. Compare two pieces by their grams, since pieces of the same width can weigh very differently.
What size are these 21K gold bangles?
Each is 2.5 inches across, and that is the only size listed. Tuck in your thumb and measure around the widest part of your hand. If the tape reads about 7.8 inches or less, the bangle should slip over. For another size, ask us.
Can I get a longer 21K chain or a piece not listed?
