66 pieces
“Buy jewelry you fall in love with: something that makes you happy every time you put it on.” Trax, at the counter on 47th Street
66 pairs, 60 in 14K and six in 18K. A plain 15 mm hoop was the pair bought most, about a quarter of all sold.
Small diamond hoops and huggies under 15 mm made up nearly half the diamond pairs bought.
Gold hoop earrings for women: plain gold hoops, diamond hoops and huggies. Most of the page is 14k gold, with 18k gold pairs too. The best sellers are all 14k gold: small diamond hoops, plain hoops at 15mm and 25mm, prong-set diamond hoops, and diamond huggies. Most of the diamond pairs are natural diamonds; some are lab-grown. Most listings give the width in millimeters, and nearly all give the gram weight.

Buyer's guide
How to choose women's hoop earrings
Pick how wide the hoop sits, plain gold or diamonds, then the karat and how it closes
Choose the size first, in millimeters across. Every pair here is gold, 14K on 60 of the 66 and 18K on the other six. A plain 14K hoop of 15 mm is the everyday pair, and it was the one bought most here. Read the grams too, since two hoops of one size can hold very different gold, and the heavier one keeps its round. For diamonds close to the lobe, take a small huggie. Ask us how a pair closes before you pay.

Questions we get at the counter
What size hoop earrings should I get?
Get 15 to 20 mm across for a pair worn daily. That size sits on the lobe without swinging, and most pairs sold here were no bigger. Go to 30 mm for a hoop seen across a room. Past 40 mm, it is a statement.
What is the difference between huggies and hoops?
A huggie is a small, thick hoop that hugs the lobe with little or no gap. Ours run about 13 to 15 mm across. A classic hoop hangs lower and rounder, and our largest reaches 70 mm.
Are the diamonds on these hoops lab-grown or natural?
Every diamond hoop here names it, natural on 33 and lab-grown on 16. A lab-grown stone is real diamond, told from a mined one only by lab instruments.
More questions we get
Why do two hoops of the same size weigh so differently?
The tube is thicker or thinner. Two of our plain hoops are both about 25 mm across. One carries three times the gold of the other. A heavier hoop holds its round and resists dents, so read the grams before you pick.
Is 14K or 18K better for hoop earrings?
14K suits hoops worn every day. Harder than 18K, it keeps the hoop round and the hinge tight, and nearly all our hoops are 14K. Take 18K for richer gold on a pair worn gently.
Do these hoops come in white or rose gold?
The diamond hoops mostly do, and the plain ones come in yellow. Most diamond pairs offer white gold, and about half add rose, chosen on the listing. The only plain pair in two colors is the two-tone hoop.
How do hoop earrings close?
Most close with a hinged post that snaps into the back of the hoop, or a fine wire that slides into the tube. Few of our listings name the closure, so ask us which one a pair has before ordering.
Can I return hoop earrings?
Yes. Keep them unworn and unaltered, write to the live chat within fourteen calendar days of arrival, or call or text 212-872-9692 from 10 AM ET, and we send an insured label. The return shipping and a five percent restocking fee come off, per our refund policy. Made-to-order or altered pairs are final.
