Lab-grown and natural are both diamond, the same carbon crystal, and your eye cannot tell them apart. They are priced differently: buy a lab-grown diamond to wear, since some jewelers do not take it in trade.
Every purchase comes with our official appraisal: the carat and gram weights, the diamond grade and the color.
Women's tennis bracelets, nearly all in 14K white, yellow or rose gold. The diamond rows come lab-grown and natural, often in the same build side by side: from a 1.5 pointer line about 2 mm wide up to lab-grown rows of 1.25 and 2 carats a stone, 7 to 8.5 mm wide. Sapphire, ruby, emerald and opal lines sit beside them, with rainbow and ombre sapphires among them. Most are prong set, a few bezel set, in round, oval, pear, emerald-cut and heart stones.
“Choose lab-grown if you want the look. Choose natural if the piece is meant to be passed down to someone you love.” Trax, at the jewelry store on 47th Street
108 tennis bracelets here, 67 of them diamond rows and 41 colored; 7 inches is on two listings in three.
Sold most here: a 5 point lab diamond row and a rainbow sapphire row, 7 each in the year.
Buyer's guide
How to buy a women's tennis bracelet, diamond or sapphire
Settle the stone size first, then grown or mined, then her length and the clasp
Choose the stone size first. The pointer in the title sets how wide and heavy the whole row is, and for a bracelet she wears every day, start at about 3 mm across. Then pick lab-grown, or natural for rarity, and every diamond row here says which on its listing. Take 7 inches unless you know her wrist, and have us name the clasp on any piece before you order.
Measure your wrist with a tape or a strip of paper, pick how you like it to sit, and read the length to order.
1. Measure the wrist
Wrap a soft tape snug around the wrist, over the wrist bone, and type the inches it reads.
inches
Check the screen with a quarter first. Lay a quarter flat on the screen, over the coin, and move the slider until the coin on the screen is exactly the size of yours.
Wrap a strip of paper snug around the wrist, over the wrist bone, and mark where it meets. Cut it at the mark and fold it in half, end to end. Lay the fold on the 0 at the top of the ruler and move the slider under it until the gold line sits on the two ends. The ruler reads the whole strip.
6.25 inches around the wrist
2. How should it sit?
A 6.25 inch wrist with a comfortable fit takes a 7 inch bracelet. 72 of the 108 bracelets here come in 7 inches. It is the most bought length here: 53 percent of the bracelets sold here in the past year with a length recorded.
Our rule of thumb: measure the wrist snug, then add half an inch, three quarters of an inch or a full inch for a snug, a comfortable or a loose fit. Between two lengths, take the longer.
A home measurement is a guide; the desk can check it with you before you order. The counts are the bracelets live here on September 25, 2026; the most bought length reads the bracelets sold here in the year to September 25, 2026 with a length recorded.
Pointer and width: 5 pointer, 10 pointer, thin or wide tennis bracelet
The pointer is each stone's weight, counted in hundredths of a carat. A 10 pointer, then, holds stones that each weigh a tenth of a carat. The table below shows how wide and heavy each band runs.
For every day, buy a row 3 to 4 mm wide. It is the width women pick most here. Under 3 mm is the thin, dainty row that stacks with a watch. From 6 mm up it is the piece people notice. Most titles print no pointer, so read the width and ask us the stone size.
Diamonds: lab-grown or natural diamond tennis bracelet
Every diamond row here names its origin on the listing. Grown and mined stones share the same carbon and the same hardness, and nobody can tell them apart on a wrist.
Lab-grown and natural diamonds of the same grade look the same; a natural diamond costs more. We don't sell diamonds as an investment, and resale value isn't guaranteed for either. Trust the origin line over the paragraph under the photos, and if they disagree, ask the desk.
Sapphire is the place to start. It leads more listings than ruby, emerald and opal together, and the rainbow sapphire row is the colored one bought most. Sapphire and ruby are hard enough for a bracelet she never takes off. Emerald wants a gentler hand, and an opal row is for evenings, away from water and heat.
Most sapphire rows never say whether the stones were grown or mined, and a few mention diamonds only in the paragraph. Ask us both before you buy.
Length: what size tennis bracelet a woman wears, 7, 7.5 or 8 inch
Seven inches fits most women, and it is the length bought most here. Wrap a soft tape around the wrist bone, read it snug, and add about half an inch. The row should lie flat and turn with her, never slide down over the hand.
Most listings come in one length, and some carry a short menu up to 8 inches. If her size is missing, the desk can take out whole settings to shorten a plain row, one stone at a time.
Clasp and gold: box clasp, shortening, yellow, white or rose gold, returns
Expect a box clasp with a safety catch. Push the tongue in until it clicks, then close the catch. Ask us which clasp a piece has before you order.
All but one bracelet here is 14K gold, and the one is platinum. Nearly every listing lets you choose yellow, white or rose, and yellow is bought most, white close behind.
A shortened bracelet cannot come back, so settle the length first. Any other bracelet, still unworn and unaltered and not made to order, can return for fourteen days from delivery. Nothing ships back until customer service clears the bracelet at service@traxnyc.com or 212-391-3832 and sends you our return label. The refund then loses a five percent restocking fee and the cost of the label. Pieces in stock ship in two to five business days.

Questions we get in the store
What size tennis bracelet should a woman wear?
Seven inches fits most women, and it is the length bought most here. Measure her wrist snug with a soft tape and add about half an inch. The row should lie flat and never slide down over her hand.
Are these women's tennis bracelets lab-grown or natural diamonds?
Both kinds are here, and each diamond row names its origin on the listing. Where the listing and its paragraph disagree, ask the desk before you pay.
What does 5 pointer or 10 pointer mean on a tennis bracelet?
It is each stone's weight in points, one point being a hundredth of a carat. So 10 pointer stones weigh a tenth of a carat apiece. Bigger stones make a wider, heavier row, and the table shows how much.
More questions we get
How wide should a tennis bracelet be?
Go 3 to 4 mm for every day, the width women buy most here. Under 3 mm reads thin and dainty and stacks well with a watch. From 6 mm up it is a statement row, and heavier on the wrist.
Can I get a tennis bracelet in sapphire, ruby, emerald or opal?
Yes, and sapphire most of all, with the rainbow sapphire row the colored one bought most. Ruby, emerald and opal come in a few rows each. Keep opal for gentle wear, and ask us whether a sapphire row was grown or mined.
Will a tennis bracelet ship in time for her birthday?
Usually, if the row says In stock next to its price, since those leave us within two to five business days. A row made to order takes more time. With her birthday close, tell the live chat the date first, text 212-872-9692 from 10 AM ET, or write it in the checkout note.
What clasp does a tennis bracelet have, and can it be shortened?
Usually a box clasp with a safety catch, and yes, the desk can shorten a plain row by taking out whole settings. Ask for the charge and the wait first, because a shortened bracelet cannot be returned.
How much does a women's diamond tennis bracelet cost?
The price is on each listing, and the stone size moves it most. After that come grown or mined, the grams of gold and any colored stone. For a row built to order, the desk gives a quote in the live chat, and after 10 AM ET by text on 212-872-9692.
Women's Tennis Bracelets: Lab-Grown and Natural, Side by Side
A pointer is the size of each stone: a 5 pointer holds stones of about 0.05 carat each. Here a 2 pointer row weighs about 5 grams in all, a 25 pointer about 12.5 grams. Most come in 7, 7.5 or 8 inches; measure the wrist and add about half an inch. Lab-grown or natural is a choice about the stone's origin, not the look: read lab-grown diamond or natural diamond.
Tennis bracelets for men and women are together on tennis bracelets, lab-grown rows alone on lab-grown diamond tennis bracelets, and the rest of the case on women's bracelets. Chat with us on this page, or call or text 212-872-9692; a person answers from 10 AM ET. To try one on, visit the showroom on 47th Street.
