Start with the link, because two bracelets of one width can carry very different amounts of gold. For every day, take a thin curb, rope or Cuban under 4 mm, the width of most pieces bought here in the year. Then take 14K, buy 8 inches unless your wrist is slim or large, and compare the grams printed on each listing.

Is a solid gold bracelet real gold all the way through?
Yes, the same karat gold runs through every link, with no hollow tube and no base metal core. Every title here says solid, and no title says plated or filled. 14K is 58.3 percent gold, 10K 41.7.
How many grams does a solid gold bracelet weigh?
From under 2 grams to over 500, set by the link and its width. Most pieces bought here weighed under 10 grams. At 8 inches, a 14K Miami Cuban goes from about 11 grams at 4 mm to 17 at 5 mm.
What length solid gold bracelet should I get?
Eight inches, unless your wrist is slim or large. It is the length listed most here and the one bought most in the year. Measure your wrist snug, add about half an inch, and size up on a wide link.

Is a solid gold bracelet better than a hollow one?
For daily wear, yes. A hollow link is a thin gold tube, so a hard knock flattens it for good. A solid link keeps all its gold and can be reworked at the bench. Hollow reads bigger for its grams.

Should I get a 10K or 14K solid gold bracelet?
