Description
Blue sapphire at the center of a 10mm flower head with natural diamond around it — 1.26 carats of color, 0.52 of white, prong-set in 14K gold at 3.70 grams.
Ocean blue is the mid-depth of the range, darker than the water tones and lighter than the near-navy end. It is the blue most people picture when they hear sapphire, and the one that holds its color under artificial light where paler stones go grey and deeper stones go black.
