Women's Diamond Rings
541 women's diamond rings live here, 350 of them 14K; 184 are engagement rings by title.
A marquise engagement ring sold most, 260 in the year; size 7 led the sizes bought.
Engagement rings are the main group here: marquise, baguette, pear-shape and cluster-halo engagement rings, then wedding bands, eternity bands, halos, solitaires and ring sets. A 14K diamond cross ring, a tiara ring with diamond accents and three-row diamond rings are in the grid too. Most are 14K gold, then 18K, then platinum, a few 10K and a handful of .925 silver. Many listings state the stone as lab-grown or natural, and nearly all show the gram weight.

How to choose a women's diamond ring
Kind, metal and color, lab or natural, carat, grams, size and resizing, from this page's live listings and twelve months of sales here
This page holds the store's women's diamond rings: the engagement rings and everything worn beside or instead of them. About half are engagement rings by title or tag; the rest are eternity, wedding, anniversary and stackable bands, cocktail and fashion rings, and gemstone rings with diamond accents.
The engagement ring page owns the center stone: shape, carat, grades and setting. This guide covers the rest: kinds, karat and color, lab or natural, the two carat numbers, grams, size and resizing, and buying from 47th Street. Every count below is from the 541 rings live here on September 22, 2026 and what this page sold in the year to September 21, 2026; prices are on the listings.

Kind is the first style word in each title over the 541 rings live on September 22, 2026, so read each count as about; a second figure in a cell is the store's own tag, counted by its own rule. The metals cell splits each kind's titles by metal, read from the title and the metal field. Grams are the median of that kind's 14K listings carrying a weight, the number weighed in parentheses, with the all-metal median beside it where given. Sizes are not split by kind; the size spread is in the Size section. The live count beside each collection is that collection's own total on the same morning, made by its own rule. The year's sales by kind, to September 21, 2026, count this page's titles inside the 400 ring titles the store sold most; each share is that kind's slice of the money those titles earned. In rings sold and then share of the money: engagement rings 960 and 71 percent; rings titled only diamond ring 298 and 8 percent; eternity bands 78 and 5; hidden halo 52 and 4; wedding bands 42 and 2; plain bands 29 and 2; toi et moi 28 and 2; heart rings 24 and 1; gemstone rings 20 and 1; anniversary bands 3 and under 1; three stone, none of its titles among the 400. Butterfly, flower, black diamond, cross and the smaller kinds have no row here, so the shares do not add to 100.
Questions we get at the counter
What is the difference between an engagement ring and a diamond ring?
An engagement ring is built around one center stone; a diamond ring with no other job is worn for its own look, a cocktail ring or a band. Here engagement rings took about seven in ten of the year's money, and the rings titled only diamond ring run heavier, about 5 grams in 14K against 3.6 for an engagement ring. For a proposal, shop the engagement ring page and its center-stone guide. For her own hand, an anniversary or a stack, this page is the one.
Lab-grown or natural for a women's diamond ring?
Lab-grown when the money should buy a bigger stone, natural for the rarer stone; nearly four in five of this page's money went lab-grown in the year. Both are diamonds under one grading; a grown stone costs a fraction, so the grown centers here run near two and a half carats, the natural near one and a tenth. Natural was about one part in twenty-five of the money; a listing naming neither is a desk question. The lab-grown engagement rings have their own list: lab grown engagement rings.
14K, 18K or platinum for a women's diamond ring?
14K, for anything worn daily: a little under three fifths gold, harder than 18K, about two of every three rings here and more than four fifths of the money. 18K is three quarters gold, a deeper yellow in a softer metal: one ring in four here, about a seventh of the money. Platinum is heaviest and white without plating, about six in ten heavier than the same ring in 14K, a third than in 18K: one ring in eleven here, under one percent of the year's money.
White gold, yellow gold or rose gold?
Pick the color by what she already wears; about nine listings in ten here offer the choice, and the karat, not the color, decides the wear. Yellow and rose are the alloy's own color and stay so. White gold carries a rhodium coat, so it is the one color with upkeep: the coat wears through in a year or two and is renewed. About seven in ten listings here offer all three colors. Whether the bench re-plates white gold, and the charge: ask the desk.
What ring size do most women wear?
Size 7, the most bought: about one in five of the rings sold here in the year with a size, and 6 through 7 together nearly half. Sizes 8 and up were about a fifth of those, and three in ten carried a half size. The commonest list here runs 5 to 9 in half sizes, and about one ring in eight comes in one size. Measure a ring she wears on that hand with the sizer on the men's rings page.
How much does a women's diamond ring weigh?
About 4.3 grams for the middle ring on this page, all metals; about one in five reaches 8 grams or more. Of the kinds in the table, the wedding and plain bands weigh least, around 2.8 grams in 14K, an eternity band 3.5; an engagement ring sits near 3.6, a ring titled only diamond ring near 5. Platinum shows the biggest median, 8.5 grams against 3.8 for 14K and 4.5 for 18K, though the metal alone adds about six in ten over 14K; the rest is heavier designs.
Eternity band or wedding band?
An eternity band when she wants stones the whole way round and the size is certain; a wedding band when the ring may need resizing or takes hard wear. Set all round, an eternity band has no bare metal to cut, so it usually cannot be resized. A wedding band leaves metal to cut and is among the lightest here, about 2.8 grams in 14K against 3.5 for an eternity band. The full-round bands: women's eternity rings; the bands worn beside a ring: women's wedding rings.
Can a diamond ring be resized?
It depends on the setting: a plain shank moves the most, a channel-set ring only a little, and an eternity band usually not at all. Closing or opening a channel-set shank pulls the channel walls and can loosen the stones; a pave band gives a little. How far the ring you want can go, and the charge, is the desk's to say, so ask before you order with her measured size in hand. The store's refund policy makes a resized ring final sale.
