Product Description
A 1 carat lab-grown marquise in E color and VS1 clarity, set in 14K gold with 0.40 carats of round side diamonds that are graded E too. Every stone on the ring is the same color, one step below the top of the scale.
The details. The center is a lab-grown marquise of 1 carat, shaped as a narrow oval that comes to a point at each end. E color shows no tint to the eye, and VS1 clarity means very small inclusions that need magnification to find. The side diamonds are lab-grown rounds, 0.40 carats together, E color and VS clarity. All of them are held in prongs, and the ring weighs 2.0 grams in 14K gold.
Size and fit. Sizes 4 through 9, half sizes included, in yellow gold or white gold. Against white gold the E stones stay as white as they are graded; yellow gold puts a warm line of gold around them.
Care. Warm water, mild soap and a soft brush keep the stones bright, and lab-grown diamonds take the same care as natural ones. Keep chlorine and harsh cleaners away from the gold, store the ring apart from other jewelry so the diamonds do not scratch it, and take it off for the gym and heavy work: the tips of a marquise are its most delicate points.
