Each shape has its own page: oval engagement rings, round engagement rings, emerald cut engagement rings, marquise engagement rings, pear engagement rings, radiant cut engagement rings, cushion cut engagement rings and princess cut engagement rings. By center size, see 2 carat engagement rings and 3 carat engagement rings; by stone, lab-grown diamond engagement rings; by style, solitaire engagement rings; by gold, yellow gold engagement rings and 18K gold engagement rings.
Start with the shape she already wears. An oval, marquise or pear looks larger than a round of the same carat, and an emerald cut shows more of the inside of the stone, so its clarity counts more. How to choose an engagement ring walks through carat, grades, setting and her size, and how much an engagement ring costs helps you set a budget.

Questions about engagement rings for women
Where can I see engagement rings in New York? Visit our showroom on 47th Street in the Diamond District: text us before you come and tell us which rings you want to see, and a jeweler tells you what the store has that day. Every stone is shown in person or on video before you decide.
Can the wedding band come with the ring? Some rings here are bridal sets sold with their band, and wedding ring sets gathers them. For a band of her own, see women's wedding rings. A stone set high on a straight shank lets a straight band sit flush; a low stone or a halo can leave a gap, so ask us about the ring you pick.
What is a toi et moi ring? Two stones set side by side. On the toi et moi rings here they are lab-grown diamonds, often two shapes, such as an emerald cut beside a pear.
Three stone, halo or hidden halo? A three stone ring flanks the center with a stone on each side. A halo rings the center with small diamonds so it reads larger, and a hidden halo sits under the center, where it shows from the side.
