How big does a 1 carat princess cut look?
About 5.5 mm on each side. Cut deep, a princess shows slightly less top than a round of the same carat, but measured corner to corner it spans more. Two carats comes close to 7 mm a side.
Princess, radiant or cushion cut: what is the difference?
The corners make the difference, since all three are square or close to it. A princess keeps four sharp points, a radiant clips them off, and a cushion rounds them into soft curves that need less guarding.
14K or 18K gold for a princess cut ring?
