Which Rolex should I buy first?
A Datejust. It is the everyday Rolex and the model our buyers took most, about two in three of the pieces sold in the year. Get it in steel or two-tone, on a Jubilee or an Oyster bracelet, and choose the size by your wrist.
Should I get a Datejust 36 or a Datejust 41?
Get the 36 if your wrist is under about 7 inches. Get the 41 if it is bigger. The 36 is the classic size and the one bought most here. You find it on both the men's and women's Datejust pages.
Is it safe to buy a pre-owned Rolex online?
Only from a seller who checks every watch in person, and our watch team checked each one here. Fakes are good now, so a photo proves little. Nearly every listing has a video of that exact watch, and the desk answers the rest.

Can I return a pre-owned Rolex?
No, watches are final sale, and the store's refund policy names them as non-returnable. So ask first. Confirm the reference, the size and the papers, then send the desk a text or ask in live chat before you pay.
What do box, card and papers mean on a Rolex?
The card is the Rolex warranty card, papers are the older paper certificate, and a full set adds the box, booklets and tags. About six in ten watches here come with card or papers. The box is an add-on on nearly every one.
Two-tone or steel Rolex: which should I get?
Take steel for daily wear without a second thought, or two-tone for gold on the bezel and the center links. Our buyers spent about evenly on the two. Two-tone wears lighter than solid gold, though its gold scratches sooner than the steel.
Are the diamonds on a Rolex factory-set or aftermarket?
It depends on the watch, so ask us. Rolex sets diamonds at the factory on some references, and a jeweler can add them later. Some listings say the setting is aftermarket. A factory piece resells as its reference, a custom one as custom work.
