Iced out covers a range of work: a diamond-set bezel, Roman numerals set with diamonds on the dial, a bracelet set with stones, or all of it at once. A full bust down covers the case as well. Stones set after the factory are not Rolex parts.

To buy one well, ask three questions: what was set, how the watch is serviced, and whether the original dial or bezel comes with it. Then have us film the stones moving in the light. The buying guide shows how to read the listing, and the checks for a real Rolex still apply under the diamonds.
