How to buy gold rings for men by size, karat and weight
Settle your size and the karat first, then choose a diamond band or plain gold
Settle the size before anything else, because a resized ring is final. Have your finger measured, and do not round, since most listings carry the half sizes. A 10 is the size men bought most here. Choose 14K if the ring goes on every day. Then choose diamonds or plain gold, and read the grams on the listing. If a stone is not called lab-grown or natural, ask the desk.

Find your ring size in a minute
Your screen becomes the sizer. Set it with a bank card, then measure the finger you will wear the ring on, with a ring that already fits that finger or with a strip of paper.
1. Set the screen with a card
Lay any bank, debit or ID card flat on the screen, standing tall, so its short edge runs across the box, and move the slider until the box is exactly as wide as the card. No bank card? A driver's license, metro card, gift card or hotel key is the same size. Without any card the circle and the ruler are not to scale: measure your paper strip with a real ruler and set that number in millimeters on the strip slider, then send it to the desk.
2. Measure
Take a ring that fits the same finger of the same hand the new ring will live on; every finger is its own size. Set it on the screen over the circle and move the slider until the circle just fills the inside of the ring.
Size 10, 19.8 mm inside
Wrap a strip of paper snug around the base of the finger, where the ring sits, and mark where it meets. If your knuckle is bigger, wrap it there too and take a size between the two, nearer the knuckle. Lay the strip along the ruler's right edge from the 0. Move the slider until the gold line sits on your mark.

No listing here calls itself hollow. Some say solid in their text, but most say nothing about the build. Where the listing is silent, ask the desk whether the shank is solid through, and read the grams for how much gold it carries.
