Which chain length should I order?
Your own number, read off a chain you already wear, laid flat from end to end. Eighteen inches rests at the collarbone. Twenty-four reaches mid chest. A chain we shorten to fit you cannot come back, so settle the length first.
Is this chain in stock?
If the listing lets you put your length in the cart, you can order it. To be sure your width and length are in the store today, ask the live chat.
How many grams is the chain at my length?
Ask us, since a listing prints its grams for one of its lengths. A longer chain carries more gold and a shorter one less. Send the chain and your inches on the live chat, and we will give you the weight.

Do I want a solid or a hollow chain?
Solid, if it carries a pendant or never leaves your neck. Hollow gives the same width with far less gold, but it can dent and is hard to repair. Most gold titles say which, and when a title is silent, compare the grams.
Are the gold and silver real?
Yes. Each gold chain names its karat, 10K through 22K, and none of the titles says plated or filled. Silver is .925. If a piece tests under its karat within a year of delivery, the refund policy offers a replacement or full refund.
Can I get a new chain before it is listed?
Ask us first. Describe it on the live chat by link, width, length and karat, or send a photo, or call or text 212-872-9692 from 10 AM ET. We will say whether it is in the store and how to order it.
How soon does a new chain ship?
Most in-stock chains go out within two to five business days of the order. Some pieces are produced after you buy, and that can run two to three weeks. For a chain needed by a set day, tell the live chat before you pay.
Can I return a new chain?
Yes, within fourteen days of delivery, if it comes back unworn and unaltered in its packaging. Customer service clears it first and sends our label. You get the refund minus five percent for restocking and minus the return label. Shortened or custom chains are final.
