Description
This 8.7mm Miami Cuban diamond chain runs 24 inches in 14k yellow gold, carrying 12.71 carats of pave-set diamonds across 146 grams of solid links — a chain that hits heavy on the neck and reads clean from across the room.
It wears well solo or layered over a thicker piece, and the pave setting keeps the diamond coverage flush to the link profile. Come see it in person at our Diamond District showroom in New York. Explore our Miami Cuban chain collection to compare widths, settings, and stone weights.
Questions & answers
Is this your best price?
The price on this page is the price of the piece. Have a number in mind? Tap Make an offer and send it; the desk answers with what it can do. Paying by bank wire takes 3% off.
Is it solid gold?
Yes. This chain is solid 14K gold.
Does it come thicker?
This chain is 8.7 mm wide. Where the store has the next width up, the solid-link version or the same chain in another karat, they show under Compare with similar items on this page. A width we do not list is a custom order: Ask in the chat on this page, or call or text 212-872-9692 (a person answers from 10 AM ET).
What does it weigh?
146 grams. The final weight may vary slightly. The store's appraisal states the gram weight.
Why does it cost more than the gold? What is my trade-in worth?
You are buying the finished piece, not the metal: the gold, the labor that made it and the store's appraisal; every package also travels covered until delivered. We do not price by the gram. Have a number? Tap Make an offer. Trading in or selling gold is done in person at the store or by phone with a jeweler, never with a number online.
Can I make payments? Do you still do layaway?
Layaway ended on January 1, 2026. To pay over time, choose Affirm at checkout: Affirm decides who qualifies and sets the terms. You can also pay with Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or a card, by bank wire (3% off), or in crypto: Ask in the chat on this page, or call or text 212-872-9692 (a person answers from 10 AM ET).
Lab or natural? What color and clarity?
The diamonds, H color, SI1 clarity, as the store's record lists them. The store's appraisal lists the carat weight, grade and color. Anything not shown here: Ask in the chat on this page, or call or text 212-872-9692 (a person answers from 10 AM ET).
Can I hang a pendant on a 8.7 mm miami cuban chain?
Send a jeweler a photo of the pendant and they will say straight whether this chain carries it: Ask in the chat on this page, or call or text 212-872-9692 (a person answers from 10 AM ET). The pendant under "Pair it with a pendant" goes into the cart with this chain in one tap.
What metal is it?
Solid 14K Gold: 14 karat is 58.3% pure gold, alloyed with harder metals for strength.
Does it come with an appraisal or a certificate?
Every gold order ships with the store's appraisal: carat and gram weights, diamond grade and color, market value and the corporate seal. International orders get a digital appraisal.
How fast does it ship, and can I return it?
Every order ships from 47th Street, tracked and covered until delivered. Made or sourced to order: usually ships in 2 to 5 business days.
Returns: 14 calendar days from confirmed delivery, new and unworn, in the original packaging, on a label TraxNYC issues; an approved return carries a 5% restocking fee and $50 return shipping in the continental US ($100 international), and the original shipping is not refunded.
