Choose the style first, then check the size and the gold before you fall for a photo. Crosses arrive most often, with animals, skulls and guns, and Jesus pieces behind them. Take 14K for daily wear, or silver for a bigger piece. Most pendants ship without a chain, so make sure the bail clears yours. Ask the live chat, or call or text 212-872-9692 from 10 AM ET.
What comes in: new cross pendants, eagle claws, skulls and Jesus pieces
Crosses arrive most often, and they sold the most here in the year. Crosses and crucifixes run from a mini diamond cross under a gram to heavy gold crucifixes. Next come animals, from silver eagle claws gripping an opal or a tiger's eye to lions and elephants, then skulls, pistols and bullets, then Jesus pieces and saints. A design often lands in more than one metal, the same skull or claw in silver and in gold, so open each listing before you choose. A one-of-one sells once and is gone.
Size: how big a new pendant is, in inches and grams
Read the length before you trust the photo, because a close-up makes every piece look big. The men's pendants sold in the year stood just under two inches tall at the middle of the range, and the women's about an inch and a quarter. Then check the grams for heft. Most gold pieces sold here were light, under 5 grams, while the silver ones that sold sat near 21 grams. If a listing leaves out a measure, ask for it before you order.
Gold or silver: new 14K gold, 10K gold and .925 silver pendants
Take 14K for a pendant you mean to wear daily. Most of the gold here is 14K, and 10K holds less gold and reads a shade paler. Most gold pieces offer all three colors, so match the chain you already own. Silver is a small part of the listings, yet it sold close to four pieces in ten, led by the claws and the skulls. Wipe it with a silver cloth when it dulls. Diamonds follow the date: newer pendants mostly carry lab-grown stones and say so in the title, while older listings name natural stones in their details.
The bail: will a new pendant fit your chain
Almost every new pendant here ships alone, so it has to suit a chain you own or buy. The loop at the top, the bail, has to clear each link, and the clasp too unless the bail opens. Most listings give the length, width and grams but not the bail opening. Before you order, message the live chat with the pendant's number and the millimeter width of your chain. For a pendant already on its chain, shop the new sets, or pair one with a new chain.
Ask first: made-to-order, custom and not-yet-listed pendants
Ask before you order a piece that has to be made. Some new pendants are made after you buy, and their listing says so. Ask the live chat for a date, or call or text 212-872-9692 from 10 AM ET. If you saw a pendant in a video and cannot find it here, send a screenshot and the desk will look for it. For a custom pendant, send a photo or a drawing and ask for the lead time. Anything made or altered just for you cannot be returned.
Questions we get in the store
Can I get a new pendant in another gold or in silver?
Often, yes. Most gold pendants here offer yellow, white and rose gold as a choice. For a silver design in gold, or a gold one in silver, ask the live chat first, since anything cast to your order cannot come back.
How big is a new pendant?
In the year, the middle men's piece sold stood just under two inches tall, and the middle women's piece about an inch and a quarter. Most listings give the length, width and grams, so read those before the photo.
Is a new pendant in stock?
You can order any piece whose listing lets you check out, though some are made after you order. In stock, a pendant leaves us within two to five business days; one made after you order can take two to three weeks. Ask the live chat which.
More questions we get
Will this pendant fit on my chain?
It fits when the bail, the loop at the top, clears your link and your clasp. The bail opening is missing from most listings, so before you buy, give the live chat the pendant's number and your chain's width in millimeters.
Does a new pendant come with a chain?
Only when its listing says so. Almost every pendant here ships on its own. The few that come on one mostly name the chain in the title, and most let you pick the length. Matched pairs sit on the new sets page.
Are the diamonds lab-grown or natural?
It depends on when the piece came in. Most newer diamond pendants have lab-grown stones, and the title says so. Older listings mostly carry natural diamonds, named in the details. Both are diamonds. If one is silent, ask the live chat.
How often do new pendants come in?
Every month of the past year brought new pendants, crosses most often, then animals and claws, skulls and guns. A one-of-one sells once. If a piece you saw in a video is not here, send a screenshot to the live chat.
Can I return a new pendant?
Yes, once customer service clears it at service@traxnyc.com or 212-391-3832, unworn and unaltered, within fourteen days of delivery. Our label brings it back, and the refund is short the return shipping and five percent for restocking. Photo, custom, coin and bar pieces are final.
How much is a new pendant?
Each listing prints its own price. Karat and grams move it most, then the stones and the handwork. For a custom design, message the live chat, or call or text 212-872-9692 from 10 AM ET.
