Every count on this card is from the 117 pieces live here on October 2, 2026; sold is what each piece itself sold over the 365 days ending September 26, 2026, on whatever page it was shown, and prices are on the listings. The stone is the one our birthstones chart and the starburst heart's stone menu both give the month. That heart counts in every row, the peridot and aquamarine chain in March and August, and the engravable heart, which lists garnet, citrine, peridot and topaz, in January, August and November. A piece with a stone menu counts all its sales in each row it can fill. Six pieces carry another stone: alexandrite, citrine, rhodolite or green quartz.

January's stone is garnet, February's amethyst, March's aquamarine, April's diamond, May's emerald, June's pearl, July's ruby, August's peridot, September's sapphire, October's opal, November's topaz and December's turquoise. Our birthstones by month chart and the starburst heart's menu agree on all twelve.
Is there a birthstone necklace for every month?
Yes: our starburst heart pendant set offers every month's stone on its menu. Counting it, September's sapphire leads with 59 pieces, then ruby with 11 and pearl and topaz with 10. March, April, August and December have three or fewer.
Does a birthstone necklace come with a chain?
Only when the listing is a necklace, a chain or a set. Here 38 are a pendant on its own, with no chain length to pick, so add a chain. The 19 sets come on theirs, and 13 offer 18, 20, 22 or 24 inches.

Are the birthstones natural or lab-grown?
Most listings do not say, more than 100 of the 116 with a colored stone, so ask the live chat before you pay if it matters, or text the desk at 212-872-9692 from 10 AM ET. Four say natural, the ruby heart among them, and the rose pearl chain says cultured pearls. Diamonds beside the stone mostly read natural.
Can a birthstone necklace be engraved?
One listing here is sold as engravable, the 14K gold birthstone engravable heart. It has no field for the words, so ask the desk about it before you order. Engraving makes a piece personal, and the refund policy makes personalized pieces final.
Should a birthstone necklace be gold or silver?
Most here are 14K gold, 93 of the 117 and two in three of the pieces sold, with yellow, white or rose offered on 80 of the 103 in gold. The 14 in sterling silver are nearly all crosses, and silver ships without our appraisal.
What length should a birthstone necklace be?

Can I return a birthstone necklace?
Yes, if it is unworn and reaches us inside 14 calendar days from delivery, on our insured return label, and its listing does not read non-returnable. Engraved pieces and the four made to order are final. The refund keeps back five percent and the return shipping.
