Is heavier silver jewelry better?
Not always. More grams means more silver, yet most pendants and sets bought here weigh 10 to 30 grams, easy to wear every day. Past 60 grams a piece is for show. Anything that heavy needs a solid chain under it.
Is .999 fine silver better than .925 for jewelry?
For jewelry you wear, no. Fine silver is purer but soft, so it bends and scuffs, and a clasp made of it wears loose. Sterling holds its shape, which is why most silver jewelry is made in it.
How low will a 22 or 24 inch chain hang?
A 22 inch chain drops a little past a man's collarbone. At 24 inches it reaches mid-chest, the better drop for a tall pendant. Nearly every set here offers both, and most go as short as 18.
Can I order one of these silver pieces in gold?
