How to buy a gold or silver rope bracelet
Choose solid or hollow first, then the width, your inches and gold or silver
Decide solid or hollow before the width. A solid rope packs more gold into each link and shrugs off knocks, so it is the one to wear every day. A hollow rope looks wider for less gold, and it can dent. Here the solid 3.5 mm outweighs the two widest ropes. Then settle your inches, since four gold ropes come in one length. The silver rope sold the most pieces in the year.

What size rope bracelet should I get?
Measure the wrist snug, then add about a half inch, or a full inch if you like the rope loose. Four of the five gold ropes come in one length, mostly 8 inches, so check the length before you order.
Solid or hollow gold rope bracelet: which should I buy?
Solid, for a rope you wear every day. It carries more gold for its width and takes knocks far better. Hollow is gold tubing, lighter and easier to dent, and semi-solid sits somewhere between the two.
Is a rope bracelet here real gold, or silver?
Both kinds are real, and every title names its metal. Five ropes are yellow gold, four in 14K and one in 10K. The sixth is 3 mm of .925 silver, called sterling in its listing. No title says plated.
