How much is a Rolex Sky-Dweller? The references in our case, with today's price

From the store at TraxNYC, 47th Street · By TraxNYC
The short answer

Each pre-owned Sky-Dweller carries its own price, and the table below reads every one in our case as the page loads, cheapest first. The Sky-Dweller is Rolex's 42 mm watch with a second time zone and an annual calendar, on an Oyster, Jubilee or Oysterflex bracelet. The reference, the metal, the dial, the year and what comes with the watch move the price.

The references we list

The reference is the model number on the listing. These are the Sky-Dweller references our listings have carried, with the metals and dials they printed; the table above shows each watch in the case now, with its year.

Check it before you pay

  • The dial print is sharp under a loupe and evenly spaced; the markers are straight.
  • The date lens magnifies the date two and a half times, and the number fills it.
  • ROLEX is engraved around the inner ring between the dial and the crystal, with the serial at 6 o'clock, on most models since the late 2000s.
  • A tiny crown is etched in the crystal near 6 o'clock on most models since the early 2000s, seen with a loupe.
  • The movement needs a watchmaker: the case has to be opened to see it.

No single check proves a Rolex real. Every check is in how to tell if a Rolex is real.
