Round pink sapphire, prong-set across a one-inch cross, 2.31 carats in total on 2.50 grams of 14K gold. Pink is the sapphire colour that shifts most between daylight and indoor light — closer to rose outdoors, deeper toward magenta under warm bulbs — so it is not a piece that looks the same in every photo you take of it.
Rounds rather than princess cut here, which softens the edges of the cross and keeps the setting low. It wears flat against the chest instead of standing off it.
