Description
Solid curb links, 5.7 mm wide, in 14K yellow gold. Curb links are twisted so the chain lies flat against the skin, and 5.7 mm is a sturdy everyday width, wide enough to wear alone and strong enough to carry a medium pendant. Lengths run 20, 24, 28 and 30 inches, so you can choose where it falls. US orders include a TraxNYC appraisal that records its gram weight. Call 212-TRAXNYC (212-872-9692) during business hours for personal service from a TraxNYC jeweler.
Questions & answers
Is this your best price?
The price on this page is the price of the piece. Have a number in mind? Tap Make an offer and send it; the desk answers with what it can do. Paying by bank wire takes 3% off.
Which length should I get?
Every length is its own choice with its own price and weight: tap one above to see both. Not sure which one? Tell a jeweler your height and build: Ask in the chat on this page, or call or text 212-872-9692 (a person answers from 10 AM ET). Men's gold chain buyer's guide.
Is it solid gold?
Yes. This chain is solid 14K gold, never plated or filled.
Does it come thicker?
This chain is 5.7 mm wide. Where the store has the next width up, the solid-link version or the same chain in another karat, they show under Compare with similar items on this page. A width we do not list is a custom order: Ask in the chat on this page, or call or text 212-872-9692 (a person answers from 10 AM ET).
What does it weigh?
17.3 grams at 20 inches; tap another length to see its weight. The final weight may vary slightly. The store's appraisal states the gram weight.
Why does it cost more than the gold? What is my trade-in worth?
You are buying the finished piece, not the metal: the gold, the labor that made it and the store's appraisal; every package also travels covered until delivered. We do not price by the gram. Have a number? Tap Make an offer. Trading in or selling gold is done in person at the store or by phone with a jeweler, never with a number online.
Can I make payments? Do you still do layaway?
Layaway ended on January 1, 2026. To pay over time, choose Affirm at checkout: Affirm decides who qualifies and sets the terms. You can also pay with Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or a card, by bank wire (3% off), or in crypto: Ask in the chat on this page, or call or text 212-872-9692 (a person answers from 10 AM ET).
Can I hang a pendant on a 5.7 mm chain?
Send a jeweler a photo of the pendant and they will say straight whether this chain carries it: Ask in the chat on this page, or call or text 212-872-9692 (a person answers from 10 AM ET). The pendant under "Pair it with a pendant" goes into the cart with this chain in one tap.
What metal is it?
Solid 14K yellow gold: 14 karat is 58.3% pure gold, alloyed with harder metals for strength. Nothing is plated, so nothing wears off.
Does it come with an appraisal or a certificate?
Every gold order ships with the store's appraisal: carat and gram weights, diamond grade and color, market value and the corporate seal. International orders get a digital appraisal.
How fast does it ship, and can I return it?
Every order ships from 47th Street, tracked and covered until delivered. Made or sourced to order: usually ships in 2 to 5 business days.
Returns: 14 calendar days from confirmed delivery, new and unworn, in the original packaging, on a label TraxNYC issues; an approved return carries a 5% restocking fee and $50 return shipping in the continental US ($100 international), and the original shipping is not refunded.
