Diamond cut rope, 3.5 mm wide, in 14K solid yellow gold. Diamond cut is the finish, not a stone: small flat facets are cut into the twisted links, so the chain flashes as it moves where a polished rope shows a smooth shine.
The details. The gold is 14K, 58.3 percent pure, and solid, so each link is gold through and through, twisted with the next into a spiral. The width is 3.5 mm. The listed weight is 22.00 grams. That figure is the weight at one of the six lengths offered, and a longer length weighs more, a shorter one less.
Size and fit. The lengths are 18, 20, 22, 24, 26 and 28 inches. On most necks 18 sits at the collarbone, 20 and 22 just below it, 24 at mid-chest, and 26 and 28 lower down the chest. It is offered in yellow gold.
