124 pieces in 5 kinds

“Choose lab-grown if you want the look. Choose natural if the piece is meant to be passed down to someone you love.” Trax, at the counter on 47th Street

For her, start at 7 inches. All 14K gold but one, and two in three carry diamonds, most of them lab-grown.

A rainbow sapphire row and a 5 pointer lab diamond row sold most here, 7 pieces each in the year.

Diamond tennis bracelets for women and men fill this page, nearly all in 14K white, yellow or rose gold, one in platinum. Most rows are diamond, lab-grown among them; sapphire rows include rainbow sapphire. Most are prong set, a few bezel. Most listings state total carats, length in inches and width in millimeters; many list grams, some the pointer size; where a listing states its stones it says natural or lab-grown.

Lab-grown and natural are both diamond, the same carbon crystal, and your eye cannot tell them apart. They are priced differently: buy a lab-grown diamond to wear, since some jewelers do not take it in trade.

Every purchase comes with our official appraisal: the carat and gram weights, the diamond grade and the color.

Buyer's guide

How to buy a tennis bracelet, diamond or gemstone

Pick the stone and the size of each stone first, then the length for her wrist or his

A tennis bracelet is one flexible line of stones, each in its own setting, that lies flat around the wrist. Seven inches fits most women's wrists. It should turn with a finger's width of room and never slide down over the hand. For every day, choose a 10 to 19 pointer row. Every row set only with diamonds says lab-grown or natural on its listing. To shorten one, ask the desk before you order.

Find your bracelet length

Measure your wrist with a tape or a strip of paper, pick how you like it to sit, and read the length to order.

1. Measure the wrist

Wrap a soft tape snug around the wrist, over the wrist bone, and type the inches it reads.

inches

2. How should it sit?

A 6.25 inch wrist with a comfortable fit takes a 7 inch bracelet. 75 of the 123 bracelets here come in 7 inches. It is the most bought length here: 51 percent of the bracelets sold here in the past year with a length recorded.

The counter's rule of thumb: measure the wrist snug, then add half an inch, three quarters of an inch or a full inch for a snug, a comfortable or a loose fit. Between two lengths, take the longer.

A home measurement is a guide; the desk can check it with you before you order. The counts are the bracelets live here on October 2, 2026; the most bought length reads the bracelets sold here in the year to September 26, 2026 with a length recorded.

Tennis bracelet basics: what is a tennis bracelet, why is it called that, how should it fit

A tennis bracelet is one row of stones, each in its own small setting and linked to the next, so the whole line bends round the wrist. Most rows here are diamonds, and the colored ones are sapphire, ruby, emerald or opal.

The name comes from a US Open match. A star player stopped play to search the court for her diamond line bracelet after its clasp broke, and the name stuck. That is why the clasp is on the buyer's check below.

Pick the stone size next. A 10 to 19 pointer row is about 3.5 mm across in the table below. Under 5 points the line is fine and dainty, and from 50 points up it reads bold.

Buying for her? Start with women's tennis bracelets, or browse women's bracelets for bangles and bead strands beside the tennis rows. Buying for a man? Go to men's tennis bracelets.

Buyer's check: how to tell a good tennis bracelet before you buy

Five things to check on any tennis bracelet, here or anywhere, and how many of our listings put each in writing.

  • Prongs: four prongs to a stone is the classic hold. Where two stones share a prong you see more stone, but one bent prong can free both. Every tip should sit over the edge of its stone, and a stone that clicks when you shake the row is loose. A bezel, a gold rim round each stone, holds firmest. Our listings print the setting, prongs on 107, a bezel on 6 and a channel on 1, but only 2 say how many prongs hold each stone.
  • The back: turn it over. An open setting under each stone lets light in and soapy water rinse it; a closed back holds dirt. Held by one end, the row should fall in a smooth line, with no stiff link and no gap. Only 2 of our listings say the settings are open.
  • The clasp and its safety: the whole row hangs on it. Look for a box clasp, where a tongue clicks into a box, and a safety on top: a figure-eight catch on the side or a latch over the box. Two safeties beat one. The tongue should click and hold when you tug. Of our listings, 28 name a box clasp, 20 of them with a safety and 5 with two, while 81 say nothing about the clasp.
  • The stones: get the pointer or the carat total, the color and clarity grades, and lab-grown or natural in writing. Down the whole row, each stone should match the next in size and color. A diamond tester reads both as diamond, so the listing has to say which. All 86 of our diamond rows print lab-grown or natural, 85 the carat total and 71 both grades, but 28 of our 37 colored rows name no origin.
  • The length: most rows come in one length, so the inches belong on the listing, and 117 of ours print them.

Whatever a listing leaves out, ask on the live chat before you pay, or call or text 212-872-9692 from 10 AM ET.

Pointer: 5, 10 or 20 pointer tennis bracelet, the width and the grams

The pointer is each stone's weight in hundredths of a carat, so a 10 pointer means every stone weighs a tenth of a carat. Bigger stones widen the row and add grams, step by step in the table below.

Among titles that name a pointer, the 10 to 19 pointers sold most. Most titles name none, so go by the width, and 3 to 4 mm is the width bought most.

Stones: lab grown or natural diamond tennis bracelet, rainbow sapphire, ruby, emerald or opal

A lab-grown diamond is carbon crystallized in a chamber instead of the ground. The big diamonds here are all grown, and half of what sold was lab-grown. Buy natural if a stone from the earth matters to you.

For color, the rainbow sapphire row is the second seller, and our sapphire tennis bracelets are the next stop. Sapphire and ruby are hard and shrug off a desk edge. Emerald chips at a corner and opal is soft, so keep those for gentle wear.

Length: 6.5, 7, 7.5 or 8 inch tennis bracelet and how to measure

Take 7 inches for most women. Half the bracelets sold here were that length. Wrap a paper strip round the wrist bone, mark it, and add half to three quarters of an inch.

A man usually wears 8, and about a third of the listings come that long. Ask the desk before any shortening, since a bracelet altered for you is final.

Buying: yellow, white or rose gold, shipping and returns

Every piece but one is 14K gold, and that one is platinum. Yellow sold most, then white. A bracelet in stock ships insured within two to five business days. For one built to order, the desk gives you the wait. An unworn, unaltered bracelet can return for fourteen days after delivery, unless it was made to order. Ask on the live chat first, or text the desk on 212-872-9692 from 10 AM ET, then ship on our insured label. Both the label and five percent restocking are deducted.

Every count on this card is from the 123 pieces live here on October 2, 2026 and what this page sold in the year to September 26, 2026; prices are on the listings. Width and grams are the middle listing in each band, as listed.

Questions we get at the counter

What is a tennis bracelet?

A tennis bracelet is a single line of stones, each in its own small mount, joined so the row bends and lies flat on the wrist. Most here are diamond, and the others carry sapphire, ruby, emerald or opal.

What size tennis bracelet should I get, 7 or 7.5 inches?

Take 7 inches for a slim wrist. Go to 7.5 for a fuller wrist or a looser hang. Measure round the wrist bone and add half to three quarters of an inch. Half the bracelets sold here were the shorter of the two.

Lab grown or natural diamond tennis bracelet, which should I buy?

Both are real diamonds. Pick natural if a mined stone matters to you, and lab-grown for bigger stones: the big diamonds on this wall are all grown, and the natural rows stay small. Half the pieces sold here were lab-grown.

More questions we get

Are these tennis bracelets real diamonds?

Yes, where the title names diamonds they are diamonds, most of them lab-grown and some natural. About a third of the pieces carry colored stones with no diamond named, so read the title and ask the desk about anything unclear.

What is a 10 pointer tennis bracelet?

A row whose every stone weighs ten hundredths of a carat, a tenth. The pointer sets the width, and those rows sit near 3.5 mm in the middle. Only a third of the titles name a pointer, so ask the desk for the rest.

Can a tennis bracelet be shortened?

The desk answers that for each piece, so put it to the live chat before you order, or ring 212-872-9692, staffed from 10 AM ET. Our refund policy makes a bracelet modified for you final sale, so settle the length first.

Can I wear an opal or sapphire tennis bracelet every day?

Sapphire, yes, since it is hard enough for daily knocks, the same as ruby. Opal is softer and holds water, so heat and hard knocks can crack it. Wear an opal row for evenings and take it off to wash your hands.

Can a man wear a tennis bracelet?

Yes, and most pieces here are made to be worn by men and women alike. A man usually takes 8 inches, and about a third of the listings offer it. The men's tennis bracelets gather the ones cut for him.

How much does a tennis bracelet cost?

The price is on each listing, and the stones decide most of it. A bigger pointer raises it the most, and a natural stone costs more than a grown one of the same size. The desk quotes it on the live chat, and a person picks up 212-872-9692 from 10 AM ET.

About this collection
ABOUT THIS COLLECTION

Diamond and Sapphire Tennis Bracelets for Women and Men

The sub-pages carry the specifics. Tennis bracelets for women and tennis bracelets for men hold the women's rows and the men's rows. Gemstone bracelets is the colored stone page; here those rows are mostly men's sapphire, rainbow sapphire first, with a few ruby, emerald and opal. Some shoppers call this row a tennis chain bracelet; the same row made for the neck is on the tennis chains page.

Shoppers ask about stone size and length. The pointer size is the weight of each stone, so a 10 pointer row uses 0.10 carat stones; where a title names it, 10, 15, 20 and 25 pointer are the common sizes. Most rows are listed at 7 to 8 inches; bring your wrist size. On the gold rows, the gold is priced by grams, karat and the gold price. TraxNYC has been on 47th St in New York's Diamond District since 2004; visit the showroom or call 212-872-9692.
