Sapphire flowers, the large size: 2.8 carats of round sapphires for the pair, prong set in 14K gold, 11 mm across and 2.70 grams in all. At 11 mm each flower covers most of the lobe, and sapphire is next to diamond in hardness, so the stones keep their polish.
