Description
Emerald-cut pink sapphire down a 29mm cross, with a small run of natural diamond as accent. Emerald cut is a step cut rather than a brilliant — it trades sparkle for depth, so you see further into the stone and the pink reads richer and steadier instead of flashing.
4.18 carats of sapphire against 0.07 carats of diamond, prong-set on 2.20 grams of 14K gold. The step cut is also the least forgiving to set: any tilt shows along the straight edge immediately.
