Description
0.65 carats of round natural diamond set across the wings, prong by prong, on 5.00 grams of 14K gold. The stones follow the wing shape rather than filling it. A solid block of pave would read as a lump at this scale, and the open spacing is what keeps the butterfly legible as a butterfly.
Wing tips are the weak point on every pendant built this way. Ours carry enough gold at the edges to survive being caught on a collar, which is where thin-cast versions of this design fail first.
