Buyer's guide
How to choose a diamond tennis bracelet or chain
Choose the stone size, then grown or mined, then the length for a wrist or a neck
Settle the size of each stone first, because it sets how wide and heavy the row is. For a bracelet you wear every day, start with a 5 Pt row, the one bought most here, a slim line under 3 mm. Take lab-grown, as nearly every buyer did. Then pick the gold and the length, and ask us about the clasp on any chain before you pay.

Pick a length and a width. The drawing moves; the button shows the chains.

Width
A 3.5 mm tennis chain at 18 inches lands at the collarbone. Weights at this width vary by build; read the grams on the listing. 10 of the 10 chains here come in 18 inches.

Find your bracelet length
Measure your wrist with a tape or a strip of paper, pick how you like it to sit, and read the length to order.
1. Measure the wrist
Wrap a soft tape snug around the wrist, over the wrist bone, and type the inches it reads.
Set the screen with a card first. Lay any bank, debit or ID card flat on the screen, standing tall, so its short edge runs across the box, and move the slider until the box is exactly as wide as the card. No bank card? A driver's license, metro card, gift card or hotel key is the same size.
Wrap a strip of paper snug around the wrist, over the wrist bone, and mark where it meets. Cut it at the mark and fold it in half, end to end. Lay the fold on the 0 at the top of the ruler and move the slider under it until the gold line sits on the two ends. The ruler reads the whole strip.
6.25 inches around the wrist
2. How should it sit?
A 6.25 inch wrist with a comfortable fit takes a 7 inch bracelet. 26 of the 27 bracelets here come in 7 inches.
Our rule of thumb: measure the wrist snug, then add half an inch, three quarters of an inch or a full inch for a snug, a comfortable or a loose fit. Between two lengths, take the longer.

Questions we get in the store
What does Pt mean on a tennis bracelet or chain?
Pt stands for points, and 100 of them make a carat. Each stone in a 10 Pt row weighs a tenth of a carat, and a piece titled Ct Each carries a full carat or more in every stone.
Are these lab-grown or natural diamonds?
Most are lab-grown, and all but a few titles say which. Every chain is grown. Natural diamonds come in five bracelet sizes and two three-row bracelets. Nearly every piece bought so far was grown.
What length tennis bracelet should I get?
Take 7 inches unless your wrist is large, since about half the bracelets sold went out at that length. Measure around the wrist bone with a soft tape, then add about half an inch for movement. Many men take 8.
More questions we get
What length tennis chain should I get?
Choose 22 inches to lay it on the chest, the length most chain buyers took. For the collarbone, go shorter. Every chain lets you pick 18, 20, 22 or 24 inches on the listing before you order.
Can I match a tennis bracelet and a tennis chain?
Yes. Six stone sizes come as a bracelet and a chain, from 10 to 55 Pt, so the pair carries the same size of stone. Pick the same gold on both. At each size the two widths sit within a third of a millimeter.
What clasp does a tennis bracelet here close with?
Most bracelet listings name a box clasp with a safety latch, the secure kind for a row of diamonds. Few chain listings name their clasp at all. Ask the live chat, or text us at 212-872-9692 from 10 AM ET, and we will tell you before you order.
What color and clarity are the diamonds?
The lab-grown pieces list E to F color and VS1 clarity almost every time. That reads colorless, and the flaws hide from anyone without a loupe. The natural listings show their grades unclearly, so ask us for the grade first.
Can I return a tennis bracelet or chain?
Yes. Kept unworn and unaltered, it may return for fourteen days from delivery. A shortened piece counts as altered. Clear it first in the live chat, or phone 212-872-9692 from 10 AM ET, and use only our insured label. Refunds lose the label and five percent restocking (refund policy).
