Product Description
11.6 carats of round blue sapphire across a 2.5-inch bezel pendant, built in silver at 17.50 grams.
Silver is the honest choice for a piece this size. At 2.5 by 1.25 inches the same build in gold runs three times the weight and more than three times the cost, and silver takes a high polish that sits closer to white gold than most people expect. It also gives blue sapphire a cooler backdrop than yellow metal, which pushes the stone further toward blue instead of warming it.
