Description

A single letter cut at 15 by 14mm, carrying 0.35 carats of round natural diamond, on an 18-inch chain at 1mm. The whole set runs 3.50 grams.

Initials are harder to build well than they look. Every letter has a different balance point, so a pendant that hangs straight for an I will tip for a J or a W unless the bail is placed per letter rather than dropped in the same spot each time. We set the bail to the letter.

Questions & answers

Is this the best price? Can you do better?

The price on this page is the price of the piece. Have a number in mind? Tap Make an offer and send it; the desk answers with what it can do. Paying by bank wire takes 3% off.

How big is it?

15 mm tall and 14 mm wide, from the store's record. For a close-up next to a ruler: Ask in the chat on this page, or call or text 212-872-9692 (a person answers from 10 AM ET).

Do you have it in white gold or 18K? Can you make it custom?

The metals, colors and sizes this piece comes in are the choices above. Anything else (another karat, a different stone, an engraving, another size) is a custom order: Ask in the chat on this page, or call or text 212-872-9692 (a person answers from 10 AM ET), with the item number and what you want; a jeweler says yes or no and quotes it. Custom and personalized work is final sale. White gold is real gold in a white alloy.

Does it come with the chain?

What comes with this piece is in its name and the facts above. For a chain or another length: Ask in the chat on this page, or call or text 212-872-9692 (a person answers from 10 AM ET).

How much does it weigh? Does that include the chain?

3.5 grams; the final weight may vary slightly. The store's appraisal states the gram weight.

Are the stones lab-grown or natural? Are they treated?

Natural diamonds: 0.35 ct, G color, SI1-VS2 clarity, as the store's record lists them. The store's appraisal lists the carat weight, grade and color. Treatments such as heat or color are not on the record; for those and anything not shown here: Ask in the chat on this page, or call or text 212-872-9692 (a person answers from 10 AM ET).

Does the bail fit my chain?

For a sure answer, send a photo of your chain: Ask in the chat on this page, or call or text 212-872-9692 (a person answers from 10 AM ET).

Do you do layaway? Can I pay over time?

Layaway ended on January 1, 2026. To pay over time, choose Affirm at checkout: Affirm decides who qualifies and sets the terms. You can also pay with Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or a card, by bank wire (3% off), or in crypto through a jeweler: Ask in the chat on this page, or call or text 212-872-9692 (a person answers from 10 AM ET).

What metal is it?

Solid 14K Gold: 14 karat is 58.3% pure gold, alloyed with harder metals for strength.

Does it come with an appraisal or a certificate?

Every gold order ships with the store's appraisal: carat and gram weights, diamond grade and color, market value and the corporate seal. International orders get a digital appraisal.

How fast does it ship, and can I return it?

Every order ships from 47th Street, tracked and covered until delivered. Usually ships in 10 to 15 business days. Returns: 14 calendar days from confirmed delivery, new and unworn, in the original packaging, on a label TraxNYC issues; an approved return carries a 5% restocking fee and $50 return shipping in the continental US ($100 international), and the original shipping is not refunded.
