Description

A star pendant carrying 0.28 carats of round natural diamond, prong-set across three quarters of an inch, on a 16-inch chain at 1mm. The whole piece is 3.50 grams. Light, and meant to be.

Small-diamond pendants live or die on how the stones are held. Prong settings at this scale let light in from the sides, where a bezel closes the stone off and flattens it.
