Questions we get at the counter

How long does a custom pendant take?

A name or photo pendant, about two to three weeks. A one-of-one from a sketch, three to six weeks from the day you approve the drawing. If you need it for a date, say so with the idea, and the jeweler tells you what the bench can do.

How much does a custom pendant cost?

It is quoted on the drawing, not guessed: the grams of gold, the karat, the stones and the bench hours. On a name pendant, letter height runs the price; taller letters carry more metal, so the same name lands lighter in a lowercase script than in inch-high block capitals. Send the idea and you get a number with the sketch.

Do I pay everything up front?

No. A deposit starts the job. Payments toward a custom piece are non-refundable, and a finished custom piece cannot be returned or exchanged, so approve the drawing carefully; that step exists so you see the exact pendant before any gold is poured.

Can you make it in silver?

Custom chains and sculptural pendants, yes, in .925 silver. Name pendants are cut in solid 10K, 14K or 18K gold. Platinum on request.

Can I use my own gold?

Bring it to the counter. It is tested and weighed, and its value goes toward your custom piece as store credit.
